May

I hope you are enjoying The Help. I am loving it! Chrys Eastman is hosting the next book club. She's informed me that the Paramount ward has primary training on the same night as our usual book club. We thought we we just move book club to the next Thursday May 13. It will give any of you starting the book late an extra week to read, and it won't interfere with a future book since we are taking the summer off from book club anyway.

Carol Lynn Pearson

Poetess and author Carol Lynn Pearson has written some lovely poems about the lives of Mormon women in "Beginnings" and "Beginnings and Beyond." She also wrote her autobiography in "Goodbye, I love you" about her life married to a man who believed he was gay, and who ended up dying of AIDS and returning to her to nurse him through his death (despite their divorce.) I have a copy of "Goodbye, I love you" for anyone who'd like to borrow it - or if you'd prefer to read some quick, fun poems, check out her poetry books or email me if you'd like the copy of a few of her poems I typed up for those who won't have a lot of time this Christmas season.

Tonight!

Book club is at 7:30 at Sara Toro's. We will be discussing Chocolat!
